Commissions

One of the most enjoyable and challenging aspects of my work is when I am asked to design a pictorial story of a family's life. Very often this is commissioned by a third party and the whole thing is a secret. I begin with lots of photographs and several pages of explanations about the photographs and the rest is up to me to compose a flowing and amusing history of their lives from the information given to me. By the end of one of these commissions I feel that I know the family well and I feel part of it in a small way.
